FIRM HISTORY

ELEMENT Advocaten was founded by Annelies Freriks and Esther Broeren who had worked together for many years as partners of the Environmental Law Department of AKD, one of the largest law firms in the Netherlands. Together they established a unique boutique law firm. Retaining their big-firm expertise and best practices, but in a smaller, more nimble and responsive structure, the firm quickly expanded its core client base to include a wide range of leading (international) companies and government entities. Today ELEMENT Advocaten has an undisputed reputation for excellence and expertise in environmental law.
